    This application is submitted on the following terms and conditions and for the purposes stated herein. 

    *Failure to abide by permit regulations may result in citation per the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code

    * The Fire Chief, or his representatives, may prohibit or revoke any burn permits when atmospheric conditions, local circumstances or health concerns make burning yard waste hazardous.

    Please check off on each line below after reading and agreeing to follow the stated rules:

    1. Residential burning shall be done from sunrise until sunset. Burn pile must be completely extinguished before sunset.
    2. Only yard waste from the specified property shall be burned. Yard waste consists of grass clippings, leaves, and small branches less than 4 inches in diameter and no more than 6 feet in length.
    3. The fire shall not contain any lumber, rubber products, asphalt products, petroleum products, plastics, garbage, or any waste material that emits black smoke or creates offensive odors.
    4. Persons and equipment capable of extinguishing the fire shall be on the burn site and in attendance at all times.
    5. There shall be no burning within 50 feet of any structure or property line.
    6. Particulate matter from outdoor fires are not allowed to be deposited upon the property of others.
    7. Only the property owner can apply for a residential burn permit.
    8. Applicant assumes liability for any damage to their or another’s property caused by the fire.
    9. Applications for burn permits open in January. Approved burn permits are valid for the calendar year.
    10. Burn permit revocations are for the remainder of the year; applications for new permits can take place the following year.
    11. Applicant must notify fire department each day of burning at 501-321-6977.
