1. What are your hours of operation?

The Engineering Department is open Monday - Friday, 8a.m. - 5p.m.

3. What do I need to do before I start demolition?

• Call the city before demolition, excavation, or land grading.
• Terminate services properly to save on future costs for new taps, meter boxes, grinder pumps, etc.
• Have the city GPS the locations of services for future reference.

4. What do all these flags mean?

Utility color codes are used to identify existing underground utilities in construction area, to protect them from damage during the project. Colored lines and flags are used to mark the underground location and the type of utility.
