Several city streets and intersections will be closed beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 29 for the A.B.A.T.E. (Arkansas Bikers Aiming Towards Education) Hot Springs Toy Drive parade. Beginning on Convention Boulevard, the parade will progress on Malvern Avenue to Bridge Street and north on Central Avenue, east on Park Avenue and entering National Park property, traveling through Gulpha Gorge, and ending at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) building, 2231 East Grand Avenue. Streets and intersections will re-open as the parade progresses. Motorists should use caution when traveling near the parade route.
