The Hot Springs Fire Department reminds those planning to open a haunted house, haunted maze, scare house or similar operation inside city limits this year that there are strict codes that must be met before this type of facility can be opened to the public. Each facility must obtain the proper permits from the Planning & Development Department’s Permits & Inspections Division as well as approval from the Fire Marshal.
