The Journey to Japan 5K Run/Walk, a benefit event sponsored by KYE-YAC International, will be held on Saturday, April 4 at Baseball Trail Park in downtown Hot Springs. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., with the race start at 7:30 a.m.
Registration prior to the event is $25 for adults and $20 for students. Registration on event day is $30. Checks made payable to Hot Springs National Park Sister City Foundation may be mailed to the Hot Springs Sister City Program, 134 Convention Boulevard, Hot Springs, AR 71901 and must be received prior to April 1 in order to quality for the pre-registration rate. Proceeds from the event will be used for student scholarships for educational travel to Hanamaki, Japan, Hot Springs’ sister city, through the Hot Springs Sister City Program.
