Hot Springs city leaders, including Mayor Ruth Carney, District 5 City Director Rick Ramick, District 6 Director Randy Fale, City Manager David Watkins and Deputy City Manager Bill Burrough, participated in the National League of Cities (NLC) Congressional City Conference, held March 7 - 11 in Washington, D.C. They met with members of the Arkansas congressional delegation during their visit (including U.S. Senator John Boozman - see related video at http://www.boozman.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/videos?ID=24fa40c2-6543-4ad2-a50c-8866823833e0 ). The group discussed issues important to the community, including future area drinking water supply and the Majestic Hotel.
