HOT SPRINGS -- The Arkansas Fair Housing Commission will hold a town hall meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 25 in the City Hall Board Chambers, 133 Convention Boulevard. The commission encourages Arkansans to attend and participate in a housing assessment, and share ideas on creating sustainable communities that are inclusive and strong with plenty of affordable housing free from discrimination. The AFHC meeting is part of an initiative with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development designed to share and gather information on statewide fair housing and fair lending issues, affordable housing, and accessible housing while exploring how to create and maintain sustainable neighborhoods.
