HOT SPRINGS -- City Plumbing, Heating & Electric recently presented their “Giving Back” monthly donation for August in the amount of $1,150 to the Hot Springs Friends of the Parks.
The organization, formed in 1994, has about 65 active members. The current objective of the group is to raise funds and advocate the benefits of using the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail.
Tangible benefits of the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail include:

• Increased family activity
• Urban renewal
• Alternative transportation
• Stormwater control
• Historical and cultural education
