Hot Springs - The Mountain Xpress, a free bus service to Hot Springs attractions, will be offered again this summer between the Memorial Day weekend and the Labor Day weekend.
Steve Arrison, CEO of Visit Hot Springs, and Richard Grandon of Hot Springs Intracity Transit said this morning that the bus service will operate each Saturday, Sunday and holiday during the summer visitor season.
“Richard and I agree that the Mountain Xpress provides an enhanced experience to our visitors and that it has been a great partnership for the last four years,” Arrison said. “We appreciate Richard and his team from Intracity Transit for helping us provide this valuable service for our valued guests.”
The Mountain Xpress will operate between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on a route that includes the downtown area and the Mountain Tower. Passengers can board at the downtown Visitor Center, Exchange Street Parking Plaza and major downtown hotels. The Mountain Xpress is air conditioned, fully accessible and equipped with a bike rack.
