HOT SPRINGS -- The grand opening celebration for Arkansas’ first synthetic turf softball fields will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 at Field 1 in Kimery Park, 331 Kimery Lane. The public is welcome to attend.
“Please join us as we cut the ribbon, raise the flags, and throw out the first pitches on the newly renovated ball fields at Kimery Park,” said Sport Recreation Operations Manager Nathan Neighbors. “This is a great opportunity to check out the synthetic turf infields, new LED scoreboards, freshly painted concessions, pavilions, restrooms, and expanded dugouts.”
