HOT SPRINGS – The City of Hot Springs and the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program (TAB) at Kansas State University will co-host a free brownfields workshop on Thursday, June 5 in rooms 207-209 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Local and regional government officials, not-for-profit economic and community development organizations and those interested in learning about brownfields or about financial resources for local redevelopment are encouraged to attend.
The workshop is designed to help communities gain a better understanding of what a brownfield is, learn how brownfield revitalization can be a part of a community’s economic development strategy, and hear from state and national leaders on resources available to local communities. The workshop is made possible with funding provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
