On Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at approximately 1:25 p.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to 201 Wynn Street, Apt. A in reference to a welfare check. While checking the residence, officers located two deceased persons at the scene. The deceased were identified as a female, Shaquilla Watts (21), and her juvenile son, Zay’vion Watts (5), both of Hot Springs, AR. The deaths are considered to be the result of homicide.
The investigation is still ongoing and detectives are continuing to interview witnesses. At this time, there is no one in custody in reference to this incident.
