The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, to consider the land use requests listed below. This public hearing will be aired live at 6 p.m. on City12 Resort TV and via the livestream at the City’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/cityofhotsprings).
- Approximately 149 Brodrick Street – Conditional use permit request for a new funeral home facility.
- Powell Insurance Office – Twin Points Road and Forest Lakes Boulevard – Conditional use permit request for a new insurance office located in C-TR zoning.
- Hot Springs School District Parking Lot Addition – Silver and Palmetto streets – Conditional use permit application for a parking lot addition at Langston Elementary.
- MPT Meadow-Wood Subdivision Replat – 130, 135 and 180 Medical Park Place – Replat of lots 37, 38, 39, 70 and 71 of Meadow-Wood Subdivision located at the intersection of Malvern Avenue and Melwood and Parkridge streets.
- MPT Meadow-Wood PD Site Plan Amendment – 130, 135 and 180 Medical Park Place – Planned development site plan amendment request to replat lots 37, 38,39, 70 and 71 of Meadow-Wood Subdivision located at the intersection of Malvern Avenue and Melwood and Parkridge streets.
- Carter’s Dairy Re-Zone Phase I – Lakeshore Drive and Burchwood Bay Road – Re-zone request for approximately 34.5 acres of land from R-1 to R-3 to be known as Carter's Dairy Phase I.
- Carter’s Dairy Re-zone Phase II – 950 Burchwood Bay Road – Re-zone request for approximately 28.5 acres of land from R-1 to R-3 to be known as Carter’s Dairy Phase II.
- Waymaker Way Subdivision Infrastructure Completion Extension – Approximately 1160 Lakeshore Drive – Miscellaneous application for an extension to install required infrastructure for the Waymaker Way Luxury Garden Homes Subdivision.
