The section of the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail between Orange Street and Grand Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in conjunction with the COVID-19 testing event at the Farmers & Artisans Market.
UAMS will test anyone 16 years or older, up to the first 200 people, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be no out-of-pocket costs for the testing. Anyone taking the COVID test will also be eligible to receive a free flu vaccine.
A mobile shower unit, provided by the City and operated by the Shower Ministry at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Hot Springs, will be parked on the trail during the event for use by those experiencing homelessness.
