UAMS is scheduled to bring their free COVID Mobile Triage clinic back to downtown Hot Springs at the Farmers & Artisans Market, 121 Orange Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

This event was originally scheduled for Oct. 27, but was pushed back a week to Nov. 4. There will be no out-of-pocket costs for the testing, and free flu shots will also be available.

The clinic will be conducted by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), along with the City of Hot Springs and the Difference Makers of Hot Springs. Sponsors also include the Blue & You Foundation and Bank of America.

Those coming for evaluation and possible COVID-19 testing can use the drive-through option, or can walk up to the site. Vehicles will be greeted at the south driveway entrance to the Farmers & Artisans Market located off Broadway Avenue behind Crystal Ridge Distillery. Please bring a phone to register, if you have one.

UAMS will test anyone 16 years or older, up to the first 200 people.

For those experiencing homelessness, following their COVID-19 screening there will be a mobile shower unit provided by the City of Hot Springs and operated by the Shower Ministry at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Hot Springs.
