On September 30, 2020 at approximately 12:10 p.m., the Hot Springs Police Department responded to 805 Illinois Street in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival officers made contact with a white female victim with multiple wounds to her upper torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in critical condition.
Detectives at the scene interviewed several witnesses and identified the suspect as Albert Bernard Mitchell (58). Mitchell was arrested and charged with Battery in the First Degree.
