Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, in lieu of the regularly-scheduled monthly Hot Springs Planning Commission meeting in May, the City Manager will act upon the one land use application:
- The Josiah House Renovations – 138 Gulpha Street – Certificate of appropriateness application request to replace exterior door, replace existing asphalt shingle roof, replace damaged or missing siding, replace broken window glass and perform other routine maintenance on this structure.
To satisfy the requirement of the public meeting, any member of the public may provide written comments by noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, to rstauder@cityhs.net or to Rick Stauder, Planning Manager, Planning & Development Department, PO Box 700, Hot Springs, AR 71902.
The City Manager’s decision will be rendered no sooner than 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Following the passing of Ordinance No. 6323, which declared a state of emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic, public meetings ceased or were altered to accommodate the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Governor’s Office.
