On Saturday, April 11, 2020, at 8:40 p.m., Officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to CHI St. Vincent Hospital in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Shelton Mitchell (25) of Hot Springs had been stabbed while at 410 Oakwood Street.
Mitchell died of his injuries at the hospital. A person of interest has been interviewed and the case is under investigation.
