The Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) will meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, for discussion to include relocating unspent Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from under-budget and cancelled projects to provide public services in response to the coronavirus COVID-19.
The CDAC meeting is open to the public, and will be held in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard. Precautions will be taken to abide by social distancing guidelines and to limit the number of people allowed in the Board Chambers at one time.
The unspent CDBG funds, which total $14,395.14, would be relocated by a Substantial Amendment to prior Annual Action Plans for use to respond to COVID-19, subject to City of Hot Springs Ordinance 6323.
Copies of the amendment can be reviewed online at www.cityhs.net/Community-Development or in the lobby at City Hall. They can also be requested from CDBG Administrator Michelle Sestili at msconsulting@outlook.com. All comments received on or before April 8, 2020, will be considered.
Reasonable accommodations may be requested in advance at 501-276-7934 or msconsulting@outlook.com.
