On Monday, October 21, 2019 at 4:48 a.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to 206 Rocky Reef Circle, in reference to a domestic disturbance with a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim who stated that her husband Glasper Brown (42) of Hot Springs had hit and then shot a pistol at her.
Officers made numerous attempts to get Brown to exit the house, but he refused to comply with orders. The Hot Springs Police Department SWAT team was notified and responded to get Brown to peacefully surrender. After several tries, SWAT deployed teargas to the house and after a few minutes, Brown surrendered without injury.
During the investigation, a 9mm handgun was located, along with two spent casings.
Glasper Brown is charged with Aggravated Assault and Domestic Battery 3rd Degree. He is being held at the Garland County Detention Center.
