[ARCHIVED] Hot Springs’ Intracity Transit extending weekday hours of service

In response to requests from riders and public transit advocacy groups, the Intracity Transit Department with the City of Hot Springs will begin extending weekday hours of service by two hours beginning Monday, BLUE BUSSeptember 16, 2019. This will affect service on the three fixed route lines as well as the paratransit service for persons with disabilities.

Currently, the last outbound departure from the Transportation Depot, 100 Broadway Terrace, for all three routes occurs at 5:10 p.m. on Monday through Friday, with the last inbound trip arriving at the Transportation Depot at 6 p.m.  Starting on September 16, the last outbound departure will be 7:10 p.m., with the last inbound trip arriving at the Transportation Depot at 8 p.m.

Saturday service of 10:10 a.m. to 6 p.m. will not affected by the new schedule.  There is no bus service on Sundays or on major holidays.
