A free crape myrtle pruning class will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8 at Entergy Park, 530 Lakepark Drive, to the right of the fishing pond. The class will be taught by Hot Springs Urban Forester Allen Bates. Proper pruning techniques for ornamental trees will be demonstrated, including ways to keep the tree from stress, disease management, cleaning pruning equipment and more.
