The City of Hot Springs and the Hot Springs Housing Authority are soliciting comments on a draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice study. This study discusses fair and affordable housing needs, along with needs related to access to opportunity and community resources in Hot Springs. It also outlines strategies the city and Housing Authority plan to take to improve fair housing. The study is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for jurisdictions and public housing authorities that receive community development and affordable housing grant funds.
To facilitate local input, the city and Housing Authority will hold two public hearings to present key findings and related fair housing goals, and accept comments:

The study is available for review online at https://www.cityhs.net/674/Fair-Housing and in the Hot Springs Planning & Development office at 133 Convention Boulevard. Comments received by January 14, 2019 will be considered and included in the final study.
