Trail lovers can mark their calendars for noon on Wednesday, November 28 when the Hot Springs Parks & Trails Department will dedicate the newest portion of the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail. The "Happy Ole Troll Trail," formally known as the Utility Service Center Trail, Phase 3, marks the halfway point of the city’s 4.2-mile greenway. The public is encouraged to attend and celebrate this highly-anticipated portion of trail that travels over and under Golf Links Road, offering a woodland setting that contrasts with some of the urban sections of the greenway. Parking will be available at the corner of Seneca and Adams streets, and light refreshments will be served. For information call 321-6871.
