Up to 10 students will be chosen to travel to Hanamaki as representatives of Hot Springs and will be expected to participate in Sister City Program activities throughout the year following their return.
Applications are available from the Sister City Program page of the City of Hot Springs website at www.cityhs.net . Only complete applications will be considered. Limited scholarships are available.
"Going to Japan last year was a dream come true for me, and since returning I've continually encouraged my peers to go,” said Lee Burton, Fountain Lake High School senior. “Not only did I have a phenomenal time with my friends in the delegation and made priceless memories with my host family, travelling abroad is one of the best things I've done to broaden my horizons and secure my future."
