The City of Hot Springs will honor area first responders on Monday, September 11 with a parade on Central Avenue in the downtown area. Fire apparatus, police cars, ambulances and other specialty vehicles will be showcased during the procession. The parade will commence from the 100 block of Central Avenue at 7 p.m. Parade goers will see the community’s heroes and the equipment they use to make the community safer.
All first responders are encouraged to participate in the parade. This includes veterans’ groups, the military or service organizations who support the work of area law enforcement, fire and emergency medical providers. For more information, call Hot Springs Fire Chief Ed Davis at (501) 321-6972.
