Meredith Switzer Rebsamen, left, was sworn in yesterday as Garland County District Court Division 1 Judge by Chief Justice Howard Brill at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 29 at the Arkansas Supreme Court Building in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Brill, who swore Rebsamen in as Deputy Attorney General of the State Agencies Department at the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, arranged to swear her in again in the presence of family as the successor to her father, the late Garland County District Court Division 1 Judge David Switzer. Rebsamen will assume the bench on Tuesday, January 3.
