Public Art & Sculpture

The City of Hot Springs has a beautiful collection of donated and purchased art and sculpture. The collection which is currently valued at an estimated $3,000,000 is placed in various locations throughout the downtown Hot Springs area, the Hot Springs Creek Greenway (HSCGT) Sculpture Garden, and the Convention Center. There are future plans for sculpture to be placed at all seven (7) Trailheads along the HSCGT.

The City's Arts Advisory Committee reviews and recommends placement of permanent art, assists in the organization and promotion of temporary art exhibits, and assists in the securing of private, grant funding and art donations for permanent art displays at public facilities and buildings in the city. These nine individual volunteers are appointed to serve two-year terms and meet every six weeks.
