Solid Waste
Residential and commercial trash collection are the responsibilities of the Solid Waste Department. The department also handles the disposal of appliances and other bulky items for residential customers through a program known as Clean, Attractive Property Service (CAPS). It lends support to organized neighborhood cleanup efforts and is the site of a regional recycling center.
Curbside residential recycling pickup of newsprint, aluminum cans, plastics grade #1 & #2, corrugated cardboard, leaves, grass, shrub trimmings, and tree limbs under three inches in diameter and 3 feet in length that are bagged or bundled is also offered.
The Solid Waste Department also offers 30 yard roll-off bins for the removal of construction debris.
