650 active cases in Garland County as state sets records for third straight day
The following statistics for Thursday, January 6, 2022, were posted on the Arkansas Department of Health’s (ADH) website:
17,315 cumulative cases in Garland County, up 188 from Tuesday.
650 active cases in Garland County, up 165 from Tuesday.
16,232 recoveries in Garland County, up 22 from Tuesday.
431 deaths in Garland County, up one from Tuesday.
Statewide, the number of new cases in the past 24 hours set a pandemic record for the third straight day at 7,787. Active cases also reached a new high of 44,169, up from yesterday’s high of 38,154. Hospitalizations rose from yesterday’s total of 819 to 892 today, with 268 COVID patients requiring intensive care and 127 on ventilators.
