Frequently Asked Questions

I have submitted my payment request. When should I expect my payment?

If you are a vendor who has a purchase order, please contact our Purchasing Office at 321-6895. They can let you know if the PO has been released for payment.

If a PO and invoice is received by the Finance Department any week by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, then it will be paid on the following Thursday.

If you are a vendor who has a contract with the city for projects or grants, please contact Mary Rice at 501-321-6890. You can also email her at mrice@cityhs.net for any inquiry.

I have a question about an invoice (or statement) that I received from the City of Hot Springs.

General questions can be directed to Accounting Supervisor Heather Szeflinski.
She may be e-mailed or called with a question. Her contact information is hszeflinski@cityhs.net or (501) 321-6882.

I was told a check was issued to me from the City of Hot Springs. I have yet to receive the check. What should I do?

If the payment is associated with a purchase order, please contact Accounts Payable at (501) 321-6882.

Can I request to pick up my check?

Yes. Please specify to our Purchasing Office that you would like to pick up your payment at our facility. If the payment is not related to our Purchasing Office, please specify to your contact that you would like to pick up the payment in person. They will forward contact information to Accounts Payable to contact you when the payment is ready.

Where do I go to pick up my check (payment)?

The Accounts Payable Department is located at 517 Airport Road, Suite C. You can also call Accounts Payable for assistance at (501) 321-6828.

What is the current sales tax rate?

What is your fiscal year end and when can I expect the annual financial reports to be available?

The City of Hot Springs fiscal year ends December 31. Our financials will be available the following July.
