The mission of the Hot Springs Parks and Recreation Department is to actively encourage, provide, promote and protect quality leisure, recreation and cultural opportunities, facilities and environments that are essential for the health and enhancement of the lives of our residents and visitors.
The vision of the Parks and Recreation Department is about families, it’s about neighborhoods and homes, it’s about economic impact, it’s about giving those we serve an opportunity to become more than they are – physically, mentally and spiritually. It’s about lifestyle, art, ballparks, environment, encouragement and wellness. It is about quality of life. Hot Springs Parks and Recreation is an oasis of clean, safe, well-funded and maintained interconnected parks, open spaces, trails and sports complexes. Our facilities and programs are accessible, equitable and affordable. Hot Springs Parks and Recreation enhances nurtures and protects opportunities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit for residents and visitors.
